"Crime Scene"
by Tyler Jacobs

The stage lights up as a few police men walk around the stage,
looking at a deserted camp scene. Crime scene tape circles the camp area. The flashing lights on the stage resemble the lights on a police car. The stage is set at night time with only a campfire and flashing police lights for light. One of the police men searches the tent, and picks it up and shows it around to the others. It is empty. They use the lantern and shine it on the tent, but find it empty and normal. The police man the hangs the lit lantern back where he found it, hanging in the tent.

He zips up the tent. They come off stage and leave the crime scene. The police lights fade only to have the tent lit up. A shadow begins to form in the tent. It takes shape and the zipper opens up. A man wearing black clothes and a ski mask creeps out. He looks around, closes the tent, and sneaks off stage. The police come back for another look and search the tent one more time, but they find nothing, only some old clothes scattered on the ground. They throw the clothes in the empty tent and close it up. At this time, another shadow forms in the tent. A man walks out; it is the magician, wearing the clothes that were just thrown in the tent.
